IEL inks agreement with Seawell for eng support services

HYDERABAD: Infotech Enterprises Limited ( IEL), a city-based engineering services and technology solutions provider, today said it has signed a long-term master service agreement with Norway-based Seawell AS, an international drilling and well services company, to provide Engineering support services.

This agreement with Infotech would enable Seawell to further expand its engineering capacity and improve competitiveness.

Seawell Facility Engineering Centre, located at Infotech Enterprises' Manikonda facility was inaugurated here today.

Krishna Bodanapu, President - Engineering, Infotech Enterprises Limited said, Seawell would now have a dedicated group of engineers based in India including its key representatives.

This group of engineers would be responsible for managing the agreement and interfacing with the global resource of Drilling Facility Engineering.

"Infotech is aggressively expanding into newer Industry verticals to drive growth. Signing this agreement marks our foray into drilling equipment and facilities in the Oil & Gas industry. As the demand for drilling and well services increases globally, we are looking forward to supporting Seawell by providing flexibility and scalability which will translate into a distinct competitive advantage," Bodanapu said.
