MUMBAI: The Ruias of Essar group now want a bigger play in knowledge-based services. Apart from BPO, where the group already has a presence through Aegis BPO, the Ruias are now entering the high-margin engineering services business.
The group has moved about 1,000 staff working across various core businesses and has brought them under Aegis Engineering Services. The new entity will cater to global demand for engineering design in infrastructure, power plants & peterochemicals.
