Escorts Construction expects 17 pc growth in gross sales

MUMBAI: Escorts Group company, Escorts Construction Equipment, expects to clock a 17 per cent growth in its gross sales at Rs 750-crore this fiscal, a senior executive said.

The company follows the October-September financial year. "Gross sales will be about Rs 750-crore this year. Last year it was Rs 640-crore," Escorts Construction Equipment Limited's Vice-President and Head of Marketing, Rajesh Sharma, told reporters on the sidelines of a CII-organised event on surface transport here today.

"The industry is growing annually at about 10-15 per cent. We will grow faster than that," Sharma said.

Escorts Equipment is primarily in the manufacturing of equipment such as hydraulic mobile cranes, loaders, forklifts and vibratory compactors.
