Era Infra bags Rs 65.5 crore orders

Infrastructure firm Era Infra Engineering has bagged orders worth Rs 65.5 crore from Birla Tyres and Alps Industries for construction related works.

NEW DELHI: Infrastructure firm Era Infra Engineering on Monday said it has bagged orders worth Rs 65.5 crore from Birla Tyres and Alps Industries for construction related works.

Era Infra Engineering has bagged contracts from Birla Tyres for construction of two tyre plants of Rs 30 crore and 25 crore at Haridwar in Uttarakhand, the company said in a release.

Besides, the company has bagged another contract from Alps Industries for construction of weaving and processing unit at Meerut in UP valued at Rs 10.5 crore, the company added.

All the three orders are scheduled to be completed by April 2009.

"The award of these contracts is yet another example of Era Infras competence and capability to execute and deliver as per the committed standards of quality and time," Era Infra Engineering Head, Construction and Contracts Division, T D Arora said.
