Elecon Engineering bags Rs 24.3 crore orders

Gujarat-based material handling equipment and transmission products maker Elecon Engineering today said that it has bagged orders worth Rs 24.32 crore from two firms.

MUMBAI: Gujarat-based material handling equipment and transmission products maker Elecon Engineering today said that it has bagged orders worth Rs 24.32 crore from two firms.

The company's material handling equipment division has bagged an order worth Rs 17.13 crore from MMDC for supply, erection and commissioning of two lump ore stackers, including initial spares, one each at Bacheli complex and Kirandul complex projects, Elecon said in a statement.

The same division has been awarded a contract worth Rs 7.19 crore from Tecpro Systems for wagon trippler along with side arm charger and mandatory spares for Harihar project, it added.
