Elecon Engineering bags Rs 225 crore order from Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers

AHMEDABAD: The Elecon Engineering Company Limited on Tuesday announced that it has bagged a Rs 225 cr order from Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited for supply of Marine Gearboxes.

This order comes on the back of the Rs. 300 cr. order that the company announced from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders last week.

“The Garden Reach Shipbuilders order cements our position as the pre-eminent supplier in the marine gear space,” Prayasvin Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, Elecon Engineering said.
