Deepak Khaitan of Williamson Magor group passes away

KOLKATA: Deepak Khaitan is dead. The eldest son of Brij Mohan Khaitan breathed his last Monday morning at his residence in Kolkata. He was 60 years old and has left behind him, wife Yashodhara, son Amritanshu and daughter Nitya Bangur. He was suffering from cancer.

With an estimated turnover of Rs 5,000 crore including four sound companies - McLeod Russel, Eveready Industries, McNally Bharat Engineering and Kilburn Engineering, the group's businesses are jointly managed by younger brother Aditya and son Amritanshu.
