Cerebra gets nod from KSPCB for its recycling plant
Cerebra Integrated Technologies Limited has received clearance from the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board to establish its integrated 96,000 MT capacity E-waste recycling plant here.
The approval is for E-waste recycling, including processing and recovery of precious metals like gold, silver and platinum, company Managing Director V Ranganathan said in a statement here.
Cerebra plans to complete the project by December this year and once commissioned, it would be one of the largest E-waste recycling plants in the sub-continent, he said.
He said the company has signed a share purchase agreement with Enviro-Hub Holdings Ltd, Singapore, for 100 per cent acquisition of Enviro's wholly owned subsidiary -- Cimelia Resource Recovery Pte Ltd, engaged in E-waste and precious metal recovery.
