Cera Sanitaryware Q4 PAT rises 48%

Cera Sanitaryware Ltd has posted a 47.90 per cent rise in its profit after tax at Rs 3.16 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31.

MUMBAI: Cera Sanitaryware Ltd has posted a 47.90 per cent rise in its profit after tax at Rs 3.16 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, as against Rs 2.15 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The revenues for the quarter increased by 41.55 per cent at Rs 34.34 crore as against Rs 24.26 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, a company statement said.

The company's net profits jumped 54 per cent to Rs 9.07 crore during the year ended March 31 as against Rs 5.90 crore while revenues were on an all time high at Rs 107.58 crore as against Rs 80.64 crore previous fiscal.

It has proposed a dividend of 22 per cent for the year.

Cera will soon launch premium vitrified floor tiles in Indian market. "The overall sales volume from manufacturing division alone is estimated to increase by 30 per cent in FY08 due to increase in capacities," company Chairman and Managing Director Vikram Somany said.
