CHENNAI: Bhel, Trichy on Saturday despatched the boiler drum for the first unit of 2x500 mw thermal project of NTPC TN energy company coming up in Thiruvallur district.
It is a joint venture of NTPC and TNEB. Once the two units are commissioned in the 11th plan period, Tamil Nadu will get 75% of the power generated, Bhel said in a release.
