BHEL maintains 65 pc mkt share in C&I biz

BANGALORE: The Electronics Division of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has maintained a 65 per cent market share in control and instrumentation business in the country, a study by ARC Advisory Group, USA, said.
The company, during 2006-07 has booked orders to the tune of Rs 1200 crore for its C and I systems, a record in a single year, a BHEL statement quoting the study said here today.
These contracts are for control and instrumentation systems comprising steam generator controls, turbine generator control, station C and I, from customers such as NTPC, MAHAGENCO, APGENCO and KPCL, it was stated.
