BHEL bags Rs 2,569 crore contract from Neyveli Lignite Corporation

NEW DELHI: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd ( BHEL) has bagged a contract worth Rs 2,650 crore for equipment supply from Neyveli Lignite Corp.

The order has been placed on BHEL for supply of steam generators package to the upcoming 1,000 mw thermal power project in Neyveli, an official statement said.

BHEL has earlier secured orders from NLC for 2x500 MW Tuticorin, 2x250 MW Neyveli and 2x125 MW Barsingsar projects, the statement said

BHEL has capability to deliver power plant equipment of 20,000 me per annum.
