Bharat Earth Q1 PAT up 57%

MUMBAI: Bharat Earth Movers Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 23.59 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007, up over 57% compared with Rs 15.01 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 406.96 crore, up 18.4% from Rs 343.76 crore in the year earlier quarter.

At 2:24 pm, Bharat Earth Movers share was at Rs 1,237.05 on NSE, down 0.45% from Friday’s close.
