BEML bags order worth Rs 34.50 cr

Heavy industrial equipment maker, BEML on Tuesday said the company has received export orders worth Rs 34.50 crore from African countries.

MUMBAI : Heavy industrial equipment maker, BEML on Tuesday said the company has received export orders worth Rs 34.50 crore from African countries.
BEML said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange the company would supply 35 equipments worth Rs 21.50 crore to Tunisia and 18 equipments valuing Rs 13 crore to Malawi.
The company said the equipment ranges from small size bull dozers to back hoes loaders, wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators.
Recently, BEML has bagged mining equipment orders from Indonesia for a value of 207 crore.
To increase its overseas market penetration, BEML has set up its offices in China, Malaysia and Brazil. Currently, BEML has order book of Rs 4000 crore.
Shares of BEML closed at Rs 627.80, down 6.07 per cent on Bombay Stock Exchange.
