Synergy Property bags $35 million contract from Dubai-based Signature Group

Synergy Property Development today said it has bagged a management contract worth $ 35 million from Dubai-based Signature Group.

MUMBAI: Global project management consultancy Synergy Property Development today said it has bagged a management contract worth $ 35 million from Dubai-based Signature Group to manage its mixed-use development project -- City Tower -- in Mozambique.

Under the contract, Synergy will develop strategies and manage entire design and development of the project, including architectural design, MEP services, structural design services, assisting with the qualification of contractors and EPC management, a statement issued here said.

It will also be responsible for time, cost, quality and environmental health and safety standards.

"This contract is a promising start to the new year and further strengthens our foothold in the African region. We are seeing a good pick up of activities in the key regions where we are focused on, and we are well-positioned to take advantage of the upturn in 2014", Synergy Property Development Services Chairman and MD Sankey Prasad said.

The project comprises of mixed-use development of a retail mall, office spaces and residential towers, along with other associated amenities with a total built-up area of 4 lakh sq ft.
