SPML Infrastructure bags new orders worth Rs 772 crore

SPML Infra said it has bagged new orders worth Rs 772 crore from the state governments of Rajasthan and Karanataka.

NEW DELHI: Infrastructure firm SPML Infra today said it has bagged new orders worth Rs 772 crore from the state governments of Rajasthan and Karanataka.


"SPML Infra...has obtained new orders worth Rs 772.20 crore from Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) of Rajasthan and Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board ( BWSSB) Karanataka," the company said in a statement.

The two orders received from PHED, Jodhpur and Bharatpur are for development of rural water supply schemes which will benefit more than 365 villages.

The order from PHED, Jodhpur is for the execution of work related to transmission mains for water supply scheme, it said.

"The BWSSB order is first of its kind project for reduction of non-revenue water (NRW) for Bangalore city. SPML will be executing this project with its JV ( Joint Venture) partner," it added.

"The scope of work for Rs 164.60 crore improvements of water distribution systems, reduction in UFW and leakage control from Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage board is spread into two stages," it said.
