RPP Infra bags Rs 49.54-crore contract from Tamil Nadu government

The project, to be implemented in Gudimangalam and Udumalaipettai Unions in Tiruppur district, would also be maintained for a period of 12 months.

CHENNAI: RPP Infra Projects has bagged a Rs 49.54-crore contract from the Tamil Nadu government to provide a combined water supply scheme in some rural areas of Tirupur district.

The company was recently awarded a contract from Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board (TWAD) for providing combined water supply scheme to 158 rural habitations in Tiruppur district for a total value of Rs 49.54 crore, the company said in a BSE filing.

"This year is looking very good with winning many orders and few more in the pipeline and civil supply. We are very positive that the top line of our company will touch new heights at end of this fiscal," RPP Infra Projects Chairman and Managing Director Arul Sundaram said.

The project, to be implemented in Gudimangalam and Udumalaipettai Unions in Tiruppur district, would also be maintained for a period of 12 months, it said.
