Madhucon bags Rs 200 crore work order from SSNNL

The co will construct distributaries and minors for the command area under Dhangadhra branch canal chainage within a period of 18 months.

AHMEDABAD: Listed Infrastructure development company Madhucon Projects has bagged work orders worth over Rs 200 crore from Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd for constructing minor branch canals in Gujarat, the Bombay Stock Exchange was informed on Friday.

The company will construct distributaries and minors for the command area under Dhangadhra branch canal chainage within a period of 18 months. These work orders from the Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd( SSNNL) has taken the order book position of Madhucon to Rs 6,100 crore. SSNL is a wholly owned Government of Gujarat undertaking which is constructing the Narmada dam and the canal network.

The stocks of Madhucon rose to a high of Rs 72.65 from Thursday's close of Rs 69.45.
