L&T construction arm bags orders worth Rs 2,525 crore

"The construction arm of L&T has won orders worth Rs 2,525 crore business segments," the engineering and construction major said in a BSE filing.

MUMBAI: Engineering major Larsen & Toubro has bagged construction orders worth Rs 2,525 crore, the $17 billion-company said Tuesday.

The orders include jobs totalling Rs 2,271 crore bagged by the company’s metallurgical and material handling business. L&T said that it received an order for engineering, procurement & construction of a non-ferrous process plant in India, without naming the client. It also won orders for manufacturing and supply of material handling equipment.

L&T won orders for construction jobs worth Rs 254 crore from other sectors, like the power transmission and distribution, and smart world businesses.
