L&T bags Rs 3,000 crore construction jobs

Larsen & Toubro has bagged construction orders worth Rs 3,000 crore, the engineering major said in a statement Friday.

The orders are for construction of buildings and factories.

"A prestigious order has been received from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) for the engineering, procurement and construction of Head of Department (HoD) office buildings at Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh," the company said.


This would be the tallest government office building in India and will be fast-tracked to be completed withn "stringent timelines," the company said.

L&T bagged another order from a tourism-related firm at Muscat in Oman.
