HCC bags Rs 373 crore order from Delhi Metro

Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) today said it has bagged a Rs 373 crore order from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

NEW DELHI: Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) today said it has bagged a Rs 373 crore order from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

"HCC...has secured its third contract from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. The latest contract is for design and construction of 2.2 KM twin tunnel...on the Mukundpur-Yamuna Vihar corridor, under Phase III of the Delhi Metro," the company said in a statement.

The contract worth Rs 373 crore is to be executed within a period of 36 months, it said.

The scope of work includes design and construction of twin tunnel between Shalimar Bagh and Netaji Subhash Place stations and underground ramp among others, it said.

The leading infrastructure and construction firm has also constructed package C1 and C6 of the Airport Express Line, as part of its earlier contracts, the statement added.
