Greaves Construction launches high-capacity concrete pumps

CHENNAI: The division of the Rs 1,800 crore Greaves Cotton Ltd has launched high-capacity concrete pumps to be used in the construction of high-rise buildings.

The pumps with S-Valve technology are being manufactured by the construction equipment business division at the Gummidipoondi facility near Chennai and will be available in three models, the company said in a statement.

All the models are powered by fuel-efficient and emission-compliant engines, it said.

"With the launch of Greaves S-Valve concrete pumps, customers can be assured of a reliable, best-in-class product backed by strong after-market support," Managing Director Sunil Pahilajani said.

The company has set up three manufacturing facilities at Gummidipoondi to produce specialised construction equipment and systems.

The products include automated batching plants, concrete mixers and concrete pumping systems, according to the statement.
