Essel Infraprojects appoints Guy Perry as head of Smart City business

MUMBAI: Essel Infraprojects Ltd, part of diversified Essel conglomerate, has appointed Guy Perry as President – Cities & Strategy. Perry will drive Essel Infraprojects’ agenda for smart city business in the backdrop of government of India’s 100 smart cities programme, the company said in a release.

Prior to joining Essel Infraprojects, Perry has worked as an Executive Director, Asia-Pacific, at AECOM, an integrated technical service firm which designs, builds, finances and operates infrastructure projects across the globe. He has total three decades of experience in urban planning, designing and developing smart cities across the globe and has a long exposure to Asia-Pacific market.

Perry has practiced in Asia, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Brazil and North America. He holds two master degrees from Harvard University and has received fellowships from the Urban Land Institute, the Skidmore, Owings and Merrill Foundation.
