C & C Construction wins 2 road projects in HP worth Rs 323 crore

The company received a Rs 179.44-crore order from HPROIDC for widening and strengthening of 48 km stretch of Theog-Kotkhai-Kharapathar Road in Himachal Pradesh.

NEW DELHI: Infrastructure company C & C Construction today said it has won fresh orders worth Rs 323 crore for widening of two road stretches in Himachal Pradesh.

Both the orders were placed by Himachal Pradesh Road and Other Infrastructure Development Corporation ( HPROIDC), a state government undertaking.

The company received a Rs 179.44-crore order from HPROIDC for widening and strengthening of 48 km stretch of Theog-Kotkhai-Kharapathar Road in the state, C & C Infrastructure said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange ( BSE).

The other order for Rs 143.31 crore pertains to "widening and strengthening of Kharapathar-Hatkoti-Rohru road from km 48 to km 80 in the state," the company added.

The shares of the company were trading at Rs 30.50 apiece, up 1.50 per cent from the previous close on the BSE at 3.25 pm.
