United Phosphorus unit buys Dutch firm

MUMBAI: United Phosphorus Ltd on Saturday said its overseas arm has acquired Netherlands-based SD Agchem Europe, a 100% subsidiary of Punjab Chemicals and Crop Protection Ltd.

It did not disclose the cost of acquisition. It said through this acquisition it will acquire products and brands across the Agrichem along with all tangible and intangible assets, and manufacturing units.
