MMTC invites global bids for import of urea, complex fertilisers

The company has left it to prospective bidders to specify the quantities of supply of both urea and ammonium phosphate sulphate (APS) and six grades of NPK complex fertilisers that they can offer.
For urea, MMTC said the bidders should submit offers both on a free on board trimmed ( FOBT) and credit and freight free out (C&F FO) basis at any of 18 specified Indian ports and the shipment should reach the ports by June.
In the case of the complex fertilisers, the shipments should start from May onward and they are to be delivered at the Kandla, Vizag, Krishnapatnam, New Managalore and Tuticorin ports.
The company has left it to prospective bidders to specify the quantities of urea and complex fertilisers.
