LANXESS, Hindustan Colas sign pact to advance innovative road construction technologies in India

Mumbai: Specialty chemicals company LANXESS and Hindustan Colas Pvt Ltd (HINCOL) on Monday announced signing an agreement to explore strategic cooperation in advanced road construction technologies for the Indian infrastructure market.

LANXESS India and HINCOL signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a framework for evaluating technical, commercial, and business opportunities in bitumen and asphalt modification technologies, according to a statement.

LANXESS and HINCOL will jointly assess innovative solutions aimed at enhancing pavement performance, improving production efficiency, reducing environmental impact and supporting the development of sustainable road infrastructure in India, it added.


LANXESS will provide the product, technical expertise and trial support, while HINCOL will contribute testing facilities, operational support and performance assessment under local conditions. PTI
