Coromandel Fertiliser FY07 net up 20.57 pc

Coromandel Fertilisers Ltd (CFL), part of the Murugappa Group, has posted a 20.57 per cent increase in net profit in 2006-07 at Rs 100.74 crore, compared to Rs 83.55 crore last year.

CHENNAI: Coromandel Fertilisers Ltd (CFL), part of the Murugappa Group, has posted a 20.57 per cent increase in net profit in 2006-07 at Rs 100.74 crore, compared to Rs 83.55 crore last year.

A company press release said here today that CFL achieved a total income of Rs 2,084 crore, a 11 per cent increase over the previous year's Rs 1,874.71 crore.

Profit before tax rose to Rs 146.35 crore in 2006-07 compared to Rs 115.36 crore in 2005-06, a rise of 27 per cent, the release added.
