Carborundum Universal sells Pallikaranai property

Carborundum Universal has disposed off the land and building at Pallikaranai in Chennai for Rs 58 crore, after the operation of the coated abrasives plant was discontinued.

MUMBAI: Carborundum Universal has disposed off the land and building at Pallikaranai in Chennai for Rs 58 crore, after the operation of the coated abrasives plant was discontinued. The company commissioned the coated abrasives manufacturing facility in December 2006.

At 11.43 am, Carborundum Universal shares were up 6.46 per cent at Rs 170.50 on BSE.
