Chettinad Cement to set up mfg unit in TN

MUMBAI: Chennai-based Chettinad Cement Corporation Ltd has received approval from its board to set up a greenfield cement manufacturing unit in Tamil Nadu.

At the meeting held yesterday, the board considered and approved the proposal for setting up the greenfield cement manufacturing unit with a capacity of two million tonnes per annum at Ariyalur in Tamil Nadu, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 492, down 0.22 per cent on the BSE.
