ACC to set up cement factory in Kharagpur

PURULIA (WB): ACC cement will set up a factory in Kharagpur in West Midnapore district, its Chief Executive (East) Vivek Chawla said today.

"The company will invest Rs 600 crore for setting up the 15 lakh tonne factory at Kharagpur", Chawla told reporters here.

For the purpose, talks with the West Bengal government had already been started, he said adding that the proposed factory would begin production within the next three years.
