Utilise possibilities in the filed of biotechnology: Oommen Chandy

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala should use the potentional in the filed of biotechnology for state's growth, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said today.

Chandy was speaking after inaugurating the one day workshop on 'Life Sciences: Opportunities and Challenges', organized by Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation ( KSIDC) here.

The state lags behind in the field of IT and other sectors which the state should have utilised for the development, he said.

However, he said state could achieve a lot in providing service to people thorough e- governance projects.

State Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty, KSIDC Managing Director Tom Jose were among those present on the occasion.
