USFDA revoke's warning to Cadila Healthcare

The US drug regulator has revoked its earlier warning letter to Ahmedabad-based Cadila Healthcare Ltd.

AHMEDABAD: The US drug regulator has revoked its earlier warning letter to Ahmedabad-based Cadila Healthcare Ltd. The company informed the stock exchange that it has received a letter from US Food & Drug Aministration ( USFDA) conveying that the facilities at Moraiya are acceptable.

The company further said "With this, the warning issue is resolved".

The FDA had issued a warning letter in June last year for not meeting US drug manufacturing norms. It said, there was a significant violation of Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations for finished pharmaceuticals at Cadila's Moriya plant . "These violation cause your drug products to be adulterated" said the FDA letter.
