Pfizer Q2 up two fold at Rs 35.89 cr

Global pharmaceutical company, Pfizer Ltd on Wednesday posted an increase of over two fold in net profit after tax at Rs 35.89 crore for the quarter ended May 31.

MUMBAI: Global pharmaceutical company, Pfizer Ltd on Wednesday posted an increase of over two fold in net profit after tax at Rs 35.89 crore for the quarter ended May 31, as compared to Rs 15.47 crore for the same quarter in 2004-05.

The total income of the company increased 22.63 per cent to Rs 177.98 crore for the second quarter ended May 31, from Rs 145.13 crore in 2004-05, Pfizer informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The shares of the company were trading at Rs 774, up 1.76 per cent on the BSE.
