Orchid gets nod from USFDA for Cefuroxime Axetil tablets

Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals has received approval from USFDA for its abbreviated new drug application for Cefuroxime Axetil tablets.

MUMBAI: Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals has received approval from USFDA for its abbreviated new drug application for Cefuroxime Axetil tablets. The product is available in three dosage strengths, 125 mg, 250 mg and 500 mg. Earlier on February 14, the company has also received USFDA approval for Granisetron Hydrochloride Tablets, used to prevent nausea. The company has received approved for this non-antibiotic product that is available in 1 mg dosage strength. At 11:08 am, Orchid Chemicals shares were down 2.41 per cent at Rs 249.50 on BSE.
