Neuberg Diagnostics consolidates its Maharashtra operations with NM Medical

Chennai-based diagnostics company Neuberg Diagnostics has consolidated its Maharashtra operations with Mumbai-based NM Medical.

The partnership combines NM Medical's presence in advanced radiology, cardiology and preventive wellness with Neuberg's capabilities in genomics, metabolomics, proteomics, digital pathology, immunohistochemistry, molecular diagnostics, nephropathology and neuropathology.

"By bringing NM Medical and leading Maharashtra pathology brands together, we are creating a powerful platform where advanced radiology, pathology, genomics and preventive wellness work together,” said GSK Velu, Founder, Neuberg Diagnostics.


ET had earlier reported that Neuberg Diagnostics plans to raise about Rs 3,500-4,000 crore through an initial public offering (IPO) in FY28.

Maharashtra is expected to become Neuberg’s largest state market, followed by the southern states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, and Gujarat, where the company already has a presence.

Nilesh Shah, Chairman, NM Medical and Chairman of the joint entity in Maharashtra, said: "Joining forces with Neuberg brings advanced pathology, genomics, molecular diagnostics and specialised testing together with our strengths in radiology and preventive healthcare. This combination will provide clinicians with more comprehensive diagnostic information and patients with an integrated continuum of diagnostic and preventive care."

Neuberg will expand across Maharashtra through integrated diagnostic centres, advanced pathology laboratories, comprehensive wellness centres and collection centres, bringing advanced diagnostic services closer to patients and clinicians, according to a company release.
