Natco Pharma gets USFDA nod for anti-ulcer drug

NEW DELHI: Natco Pharma has received US health regulator's approval to market anti-ulcer drug, Lansoprazole delayed release capsules, in the American market.

The company has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USDFA) for Lansoprazole delayed release capsules in strengths of 15 mg and 30 mg, Natco Pharma said in a filing to the BSE today.

"Shipments of this product will commence immediately," it added.

Shares of Natco Pharma touched a 52-week high before ending at Rs 490.25 on the BSE, up 4.89 per cent from its previous close.
