Mankind Pharma joins hands with Denovo Sciences for AI-powered drug discovery

Mankind Pharma Ltd announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with Denovo Sciences to launch an AI-driven drug discovery program.

Mankind Pharma said in a press release that this partnership represents a milestone in its strategy for R&D innovation driven by technology.

The partnership is aiming to achieve three main objectives: cutting early drug discovery timelines, enhancing the quality of lead candidates being developed, and filtering out the most viable potential drugs.


By introducing computational accuracy at the start of the drug development process, the two companies plan to minimise time and effort spent on drugs that have a low chance of succeeding later.

This collaboration will combine Mankind Pharma's research & development infrastructure, experimental and clinical validation expertise with Denovo Sciences' custom AI platform. "Together, both organisations will work under a human-in-the-loop model, where AI generates and evaluates molecular candidates while scientific experts guide, validate, and refine the results at every stage," the statement said.

Faster discovery cycles and better candidate selection can help bring differentiated, effective, and accessible therapies to patients sooner, it added.
