Lupin ties up with Acceliant for clinical research

NEW DELHI: Pharma major Lupin has tied up with Acceliant to use the Bangalore-based firm's platform in its drug research programmes.

Lupin would leverage Acceliant's clinical trial platform for its clinical research and trials across Lupin Research programs, Acceliant said in a statement.

Commenting on the tie up, Acceliant CTO Ven Thangaraj said: "This is an excellent platform for us to showcase our eClinical suite of products that deliver end-to-end clinical trial data management solutions. Together, we hope to raise the level of clinical trial efficiency."

Bangalore-based Acceliant's platforms ensure smooth execution of clinical data management activities such as database design and various report formats for business intelligence.

"Acceliant's eClinical suite will go a long way in helping us to cost-effectively streamline and expedite our clinical trial processes," Lupin Vice-President Ravishekar Kasibhatta said.
