Lincoln's patent on 'Vivian Roll On' accepted
Pharmaceutical company, Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Ltd on Thursday said its application for the patent of Vivian Roll On, the composition comprising anti inflammatory analgesic as an active ingredient, was accepted by Indian Patent office.
MUMBAI: Pharmaceutical company, Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Ltd on Thursday said its application for the patent of Vivian Roll On, the composition comprising anti inflammatory analgesic as an active ingredient, was accepted by Indian Patent office.
The patent application was accepted by the Indian Patent office on September 4, Lincoln informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The company had applied for the patent of pharmaceutical topical drug applicator under NDDS (Novel Drug Delivery System) for the composition comprising anti inflammatory analgesic as an active ingredient, Vivian Roll On, it added.
Vivian Roll On would be helpful to patients as it ensures better concentration and non sticky uniform film spreading. Moreover, it provides touch less therapy and is easy to carry.
Lincoln Pharmaceutical now has a total number of five patent fields, of which two have gone for final patent.
The company has set up a Research and Development center, is also approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology Government of India.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 9.24, up 0.43 per cent at the BSE.
