Kopran Pharma to issue 2.26 lakh shares to SBI

MUMBAI: Pharmaceutical firm Kopran Ltd on Thursday announced its plans for allotment of 2.26 lakh equity shares to PSU banking major State Bank of India on preferential basis.
The company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its board of directors at a meeting held today has proposed to issue 2.26 lakh fully paid-up equity shares on preferential basis to SBI and 4.48 lakh fully paid-up equity shares to Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI).
According to the latest data available with BSE, IDBI held 5 lakh shares of Kopran, amounting to a 1.86 per cent stake, as on March 31.
Kopran's share price dropped 2.52 per cent to close at Rs 44.55 on the BSE today.
