NEW DELHI: Herbal medicine manufacturer Goodcare Pharma is planning to set up 50 ayurvedic clinics across the country in next two years entailing an investment of Rs 10 crore to tap the growing market.

"Our aim is to set up 50 ayurvedic clinics in India by 2009 with a planned investment of Rs 10 crore," Goodcare pharma Director Tania Sharma said.

Sharma said the clinics would provide consultation services, hearbal drugs and other ayurvedic over-the-counter formulations to consumers.

With the visibility factor in mind, the company is engaging in talks with mall developers and other real estate companies to be present in high footfall areas.

By opening clinics in shopping malls, the company also aims to target the youth population.

"It is a part of our strategy to be present at high traffic malls to increase brand visibility. This also allows us to provide touch and feel to our customers," Sharma said.
