Generic version of Merck's Proscar tabs from Dr. Reddy's
Pharma major Dr Reddy's Laboratories announced on Saturday that it has launched the authorized generic version of Merck's Proscar tablets 5 mg (Finasteride) on June 19.

HYDERABAD: Pharma major Dr Reddy's Laboratories announced on Saturday that it has launched the authorized generic version of Merck's Proscar tablets 5 mg (Finasteride) on June 19.
The company has also launched the authorized generic version of Merck's Zocor tablets (Simvastatin) 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg and 80 mg yesterday, a company release said.
In January this year, the company entered into separate agreements with Merck that enabled it to launch the authorized generic versions of Proscar tablets (Finasteride) and Zocor
tablets (Simvastatin).

The specific financial terms and conditions of the agreement have not been disclosed.
