Ethypharm signs out-licensing deal with Globalpharma
Pharma major Ethypharm India, has signed a major out-licensing deal for five new products in different therapeutic segments, with UAE-based Globalpharma Co LLC.

MUMBAI: Pharma major Ethypharm India, has signed a major out-licensing deal for five new products in different therapeutic segments, with UAE-based Globalpharma Co LLC.
The products are Paracetamol 500 mg Flashtab, Ciprofloxacin sustained release 1,000 mg, Metformin sustained release 1,000 mg, Gliclazide sustained release 30 mg, Pseudoephedrine sustained release 120 mg and Cetirizine 5 mg in combination.
Under the terms of the agreement, Ethypharm India will be responsible for the development and supply of the five products whereas Globalpharma will be responsible for marketing and distribution in the Middle-East and Gulf countries, a press release issued here today said.
Earlier, Ethypharm India, a subsidiary of leading French drug delivery MNC, Ethypharm SA, had signed a similar deal with Globalpharma for development and supply of Cetirizine 10 mg orodispersible tablets.
"With this deal, Ethypharm has clearly established a leadership position in the drug delivery segment in the Middle-East and Gulf regions," Ajey Kumar, CEO of the company, said.
