DRL gets tentative USFDA nod for Alzheimer's drug

Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd has received tentative approval from the USFDA for the drug 'Rivastigmine' in capsule form.

MUMBAI: Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd has received tentative approval from the USFDA for the drug 'Rivastigmine' in capsule form.

The tentative approval was given to Rivastigmine Tartrate capsules for strengths of 1.5 mg, 3 mg, 4.5 mg, 6 mg, according to information on the USFDA website.

Rivastigmine is used for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
