NEW DELHI: India's drug maker Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd today said it has opened a new office in Manila, Philippines in partnership with Britton Marketing Corporation.
The company has opened its office in Manila, Philippines in partnership with Britton Marketing Corporation (BMC), a sister company of Britton Distributions, for the distribution of its product in the region .
"Philippines is one of the key markets in the ASEAN region for us and BMC has a strong marketing presence in the healthcare products market and together with Dr Reddy's, is ideally placed to serve this market," Dr Reddy Head AMEEERA region Rajesh Kumar said.
This distributor-based model would help in capitalising 1.8 billion dollar pharmaceutical market in Philippines, which is growing at over 10 per cent annually, Dr Reddys said in a communique on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The company would initially target the therapeutic segment like cardiology, diabetology, gastroenterology and pain management and in first phase will launch see some of its major brands including Omez (Omiprazole), Stamlo M (Amlodipine maleate) and Resilo (Losartan) Reclide and Finast (Finasteride) in the Philippines market.
