Dabur working on generic products launch in US
Dabur Pharma is working on 17 new chemical entities and will launch 12 generic products in the US by the next year.

NEW DELHI: Oncology drugmaker Dabur Pharma on Friday said it was working on 17 new chemical entities and would launch 12 generic products in the US by the end of next year.
"We are working on 17 new chemical entities, of which one is in phase-I trial and one is phase-II trial," Dabur Research Foundation President (R&D) Rama Mukherjee said on the sidelines of the CII Life sciences conference here.
The company has so far launched three generic products in the US market and is awaiting approvals for three more.
Dabur Pharma had a product pipeline of 15 generic oncology products, which are expected to be launched by the end of FY'09.
The company spends Rs 40 crore annually on R&D.
