BSV acquires Malaysia based drug, devices distribution cos

PE firm Advent-backed Bharat Serums and Vaccines (BSV), on Thursday said it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Firstline Pharmaceuticals and Genomicks , to augment its presence in women’s health and reproductive therapy in Malaysia.

The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Following the acquisition, the two companies will be held by BSV.


Firstline is one of the leading distributors of fertility treatment while Genomicks currently distributes medical devices in Malaysia.

The companies distribute a wide range of products which include Foliculin, Hucog, Humog, Profortil, Fortelle+Omega 3.
