Arvind Remedies workers at Kakkalur unit go on strike

This facility manufactures pharmaceutical products in various dosages, like tablets, capsules, liquids, ointments, creams, suspensions, dry syrups.

NEW DELHI: Drug firm Arvind Remedies today said workers of its unit at Kakkalur plant in Tamil Nadu have been on strike for the past few days affecting production.

"There has been strike by the workers of the company in Unit No 1 at Kakkalur since few days raising their demands and the same has affected the production," Arvind Remedies said in a filing to BSE.

The management has initiated conciliation efforts and hopes to bring back normalcy at the earliest, it added.

This facility manufactures pharmaceutical products in various dosages, like tablets, capsules, liquids, ointments, creams, suspensions, dry syrups.

The Arvind Remedies scrip was trading at Rs 30.45, down 3.18 per cent, in the afternoon trade on BSE.
