The 15,000-square-foot facility operates a manufacturing line designed to produce 500-600 kg of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) annually. It integrates discovery, process development, and cGMP manufacturing for highly potent molecules, including cytotoxic payloads used in oncology, to minimise handoffs across the development journey, according to a statement on Wednesday.
The platform, Aragen OneHP, is designed to handle compounds at occupational exposure limits of up to 10 ng/m³ and lays the groundwork for expansion into advanced modalities, such as antibody-drug conjugates and peptide-drug conjugates.

Aniel Khubchandani, Chief Executive Officer, Small Molecules-CDMO, Aragen said, "With OneHP, we are bringing discovery, development and cGMP manufacturing for highly potent molecules onto a more integrated platform. This can reduce handoffs between providers, while keeping process knowledge and programme context connected as a molecule moves from early development towards commercial supply.
The company stated that it invested over Rs 1,000 crore in capital expenditure over the three years leading to March 2026. Its contract development and manufacturing segment registered a 19 per cent compound annual growth rate during this timeframe, with installed small-molecule capacity reaching 364 KL across its Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam sites.
